Blue NIght

The stillness of deep dark eyes.

Glistening in the night, noticed by a sigh.

When will the bowl of fresh water come to me?

Quenching the thirst, of the scorching heat.

The heart quivers every time a maggot gnaws at it.

Poisoning the bread that life throws at it.

When will the serpent finally die?

Letting the garden come truly alive.

Piecemeals. Piecemeals. Kills gently.

There is no solution, only life in between.

When will the ice break eventually?

The demise of innocence finally.

Bare bodies and a naked soul.

Rotting heart that often cries foul.

How can I forget a life in scores?

Let me erase what’s not at my door.

A blue night that cries in pain.

Distant memories of life in rain.

Where am I going in this light?

Out of control in the stillness of night.

"Eve!"

"I know."

"It’s happening all over again."

"One last time. I promise."
